using the GO

Hi,   We have a Quilting session on Thursday at the senior center .  each brings their project they are working on and we all share our experences and fun things.  This time I took the go and we all cut our needed blocks and strips, using up some of that stash.  I didnt have much of a stash when I started quilting afew years ago.  now it is getting out of control.  but thanks to the Go I may get it under control. thanks to ebay for the Go and dies.

I have it in my studio.  along with dies .  I am trying to get started things completed so that I can feel good about using it.

I receved by Fed X today.  I am not able to sit down and use it for a few days.  It looks great!!!

I just couldnt wait.  I had to have one of those....  on its way. i went to ebay and won a good deal.  now the challengs is to get my sewing room in order so I can use it along with the varius dies i found.  It is so nice to know they are on their way...

Trip to Johans Fabrics.

The car trip is a 2 hr drive through the most beautiful country side.  Fall is in the air preparing for winters sleep.  We took the three dogs, they enjoyed the day learning new sites and sounds.  (they dont get out very often)  Dad had to set in the car with them as It was to hot to set with the windows up.  next there must have been a run on fabric .  I never saw so many people, for there were some brave men in the store.  what a rush.  hurry here and there, find fabric ,
What ??you mean that I have been standing here in this line, now I need a ticket. Oh, yes take a number and wait. (this is so that you can walk around the store and spend more money...  Ha It worked.  i got material for my little guys a new bed sack each , and my self a new robe.  do you know how hard it is to find cotton chenile??  finaly found it and used a 50%off ticket.  I'll post the completed project as soon as I get it done.  we stopped at the chicken place for a bite on our way out of town. an Ice cream about halfway home.  Just befor we got home I spied a yard sale.  convenced my self to stop..  you got it, there was more material.  What a day,  I must stay away from those places ..  I promised my daughter I would not leave the (Material ) for her to deal with.  so I must work ,work ,work.

Hi, I just down loaded the pictuer.  I ment for it to be smaller.  this is my crop of yard long beans.  I wanted to share with you.  no quilt pic yet.  it is fan folded and waiting in the bag .  i must can the peaches and pears befor I start on it.  they will spoil the quilt will wait. but not for longHA HA
